About Vivianne…
Born in 1995, her passion for music has taken her from her native Romania to Vienna, Munich, and Bern, before settling in Basel, Switzerland.
Vivianne is a Master Performance and Master Pedagogy graduate of the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis where she studied historical flutes, and Bachelor graduate of the Hochschule für Musik Bern where she explored contemporary music and improvisation with the modern flute.
She is the founder of the Bucharest Early Music Days, a festival that promotes historically informed performance practice in her home country, Romania. As an artistic director of the festival, Vivianne explores the debt of early music repertoire and puts the historical informed practice as a highlight. Vivianne is not only a highly accomplished musician, but also a passionate advocate for music education. Teaching is for her a very important tool to express and shape thoughts. Learning others the language of music feels extremely exciting.

In 2025 she was invited as a faculty member at the Coped Flute Summer Camp Cluj, Romania. She performs in recitals throughout Europe, her goal is to share the expertise and enthusiasm for early music with a wide audience.
Her artistic recognition is also reflected in her passion for photography and videography.
With a focus on improvisation, historically informed performance, and creative teaching methods, Vivianne tries to enrich the world of music in a compelling and pioneering way.
